WHAT’S IN A NAME?
Esteem Rising came to me quite innocently as I was lying in bed one night. Though, it really spoke to me, it wasn’t until much later that I realized the significance was greater than just a title on a banner. It was my life story and my business philosophy.
As a child and at times as an adult I struggled with my own self esteem. Sensitive to people’s opinion and extremely sensitive to energy around me; I would do what I could to blend in or try not be noticed at all. As time progressed I have come to understand the power of knowing thyself and value the opportunities that are available when you gain self acceptance.
My own esteem rising gave way to the voice that speaks through this blog as well as helps others navigate their life and career. This blog mixes business and personal, humor and rants. A platform to voice opinions, analyze life, feature women of influence and promote philanthropy. It is always a work in progress with life and thoughts in motion.

She has worked passionately for 20 years in the areas of personal and professional development; focused on providing hope, inspiration and support to clients and students.
In addition to the joy of writing, blogging, facilitating and coaching, Jennifer has a passion for music; attending as many concerts as she can. She also loves dogs, travel and home decorating.
