(Updated monthly)

For hundreds of years women have shaped our world, but for some reason I received little information about this fact from my schooling. Life taught me that “her story” is just as important as “his story.”  Knowing both can help build a stronger relationship between us all.

That is why I have spent my life diving into the lives of other women who, had I not sought out their information, I may never have known. Women of science, medicine, politics, religion, and war. Women of arts, culture, sports, business and our humanitarians.

Around the globe there are examples of these women; travel with me across time and the miles to know these WOMEN OF INFLUENCE.

THIS MONTHS FEATURED WOMAN: Nancy Greene - Canada’s top ski racer winning both gold and silver at the 1968 Olympics. Nancy has won numerous world and Canadian championships and remains a recognizable person in the world of ski racing. Check out all the accomplishments of this inspiring woman! We are proud of our BC native and all that she has given to communities throughout BC.
